Yea, I know I need that, I just forgot to add it among the several other things. I ordered 300$ in gaskets and such today.

Well I guess update time, I got bored today and started pulling things off, mainly the harness.

I forgot how much of a bitch it is to get injector plugs off a BMW. You need to use 2 picks to seperate the clips, it was a bitch.

Oh yea and to the owner who had this engine before me. Whatever shop you took it to, to get the engine changed when you blew the original, please let me know where it is. So I can go and kick the mother fuckers who put this wiring harness on the engine square in the dick!

Basically it's down to the block, head and intake manifold. I need to clean it up real nice before it goes in. That means scrubby scrub scrub!

Question. See that pulley on the A/C bracket? Can I take that whole bracket and pulley off if i'm not using A/C?

    GET IN THERE!!!

^^Yes, you can remove the entire A/C assembly if you arent using it.

What did they fuck up with the engine harness routing?

They just threw it under there and zip tied it to random shit. Wires were stretched and grommets weren't in proper places.

Well, I didn't get much done today because i'm feeling pretty shitty. All I did was take the intake manifold off, getting this thing ready to be cleaned.

                      I like a little mystery.

It's pretty warm out today, I think it's a good day for engine scrubbing.

Nope. I can get it loosened, but it won't come out, it hits the trigger wheel.

I did it with a wrench and the bolt barly will slip past the trigger wheel. its a tight squeeze but it can be done. What type of wrench are you using? I used a super thin one from snap-on

Theres no problem getting the wrench in. It's just getting the bolts out.
