There should be enough room for you to wiggle them out.
I guess it's that time for a 24v swap thread

Alright, I got around to ripping the harness apart, there are 3 wires that goto the DME. do I just cut em?
I also read you need to connect the brown/black coming from pin 23 on the DME to any red/white wire on the main relay. But it also mentioned a 413 ECU, which I don't have, I have a 403 as my engine is non vanos. I'm assuming this wire is possibly used for the neutral/park starting.

And whats this plug for?

Looks like the O2 to me. The other one might be the maf plug.Comment

Yeah the maf plug is super long thats way you can tell what it is or you can peel the boot back and look at the color code on the wires and match it in the bently.Comment

It makes it a lot cleaner. What you could do is what Stuck did which I plan on doing. Buy new pins from the dealer and take the old ones out of the c101 connector. Cut the e36 harness, crimp/solder the pins to each wire and connect each wire accordingly to the c101 connector. I will be doing this when I get another wiring harness for a wire clean up.

thats a brilliant idea, what part do u ask the dealer for? any specific part number? It makes it a lot cleaner. What you could do is what Stuck did which I plan on doing.
