    Aux Fan and Viscus fan

Busy with the s50 swap, gonna remove the viscus(spelling???)fan and replace them with 2 x 10 inch electric fans.

My understanding is the viscus is a clutch fan that only spins with purpose when the engine gets hot, What temp does the viscus start working and what temp switch should i use to emmulate the viscus with electric fan. I will also still have my aircon fan which uses the bmw switch on the side of the radiator( i think thats a 90deg switch).
gonna run a seperate temp switch in one of the coolant pipes, which would be the perfect pipe? lower or upper?

Run the temp switch on the upper hose as the water temp on the hose before it passes through the radiator will be hotter than the lower.
