Question for those using the getrag 260

I am using the getrag 260 with my m52 swap and am in the process of getting the shift linkage all put together.

I know that there are a few different options as to how to do this. Does anyone who decided to just bend the shift lever have a pic of the linkage and shifter installed?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Nick

I thought about bending it, but it's hollow metal and I didnt think it would take much of a bend before the twisting started. If you apply a lot of heat it should work alright.

FWIW I cut mine, drilled a couple of holes, and used a slotted sleeve to attach both parts. You can make it adjustable this way, so that you can get the angle perfect.

I didnt take any pictures during the swap, but I've got to finish up some exhaust work so I'll try to remember to snap a picture when I get under it.

I'm probably not messing with it until next week though. It's hard to get motivated when driving around with open headers is so much fun.
