I know this must seem obvious to you, but this is my first swap and first BMW, have patience with me please.

Can you elaborate more this set screw? Where it is located and how it should be adjusted?

This thing doesn't close at all!

    Thanks man, appreciate it!

    E36 Throttle Body Doesn't Close

I've been in the process of finishing up my M50 swap into my E30 and just put on the intake manifold and fuel components. I notice the throttle body is pretty nasty so i degrease it it and spray it with some WD-40. I pull on the tab where the throttle cable meets to body and notice when I release it the butterfly flap doesnt close all the way and over all the whole thing just doesn't seem to open and close too easy.

The butterfly is never supposed to be fully horizontal right?

Is there some remedy or something I should soak this whole unit in to make sure there's no crud in the springs or grooves or anything?

    Thanks guys!!
