      Got the branch manifold done, i used the standard M3 branches but had the last pipe modified to clear the steering column

            Finally......
            all put together and waiting to be driven, started her up but seems to be a miss fire.... traced it down to the MAF, gonna have to source another one....
            gear lever still touching the driveshaft,have to bend that...

              The getrag 260 which i installed is making a noise, whining and knocking,gonna have to strip it, got hold of a ///M 3 ZF tranny

                Funny you have MAF issues, I did as well. How does it run with the MAF unplugged?

                  It actually runs quite well with the MAF unplugged apart from being heavy on fuel it revs quite nice and clean

                      What driveshaft are you using with the zf tranny? And is the zf tranny that you got a 6speed? If so its a lot longer than the 5speed US gearbox's. You would have to use I "believe" an auto driveshaft. Correct me if I'm wrong. Glad to see you got it up and running. Give me your motor and I'll give you mine. =)

                          im using the 328 manual driveshaft and the tranny is 5 speed, i also thought of using the auto driveshaft but they have different flanges on and dont use the guibo like in the manual, anyway just got the driveshaft back from the shop and it measures just right although i had to loosen the collar nut and lengthen it a bit....

                            As long as you aren't extended it more than .5 inches at the nut from the rear half you should be fine. Man, looks like its come a long way. Keep us updated and get that thing buttoned up.

                              Just an update of an ALMOST complete swap, did 1700km of running in so far, feels strong but got to sort out some tuning issues first, yet to do the first oil change but decided to do it at 2000km......check the pics ....
