    My swap - M20 to S50

The first thing i decided to sort out was the moving of the booster location closer to the strut tower. I managed this by making extending the existing hole in the firewall and made up plates to re-inforce the firewall as well as direct the booster.....
the reason i need to move the booster is coz im using the euro motor and the intake plenum is huge...

The booster im using is from a golf 1 (never thought i would use golf parts in my e30:)) and my standard master cylinder.

Bending the brake lines were a bit of a pita but got them right eventually but did break one......

pics of the booster and booster plates.

A PIC OF THE BOOSTER FITTED....

                      Nice work mate!

Sorry but what was the purpose of the new plate for the brake booster? how does it move the booster closer to the tower?

                          Thanks man

the purpose of the plate is to re - inforce the firewall coz when moving the booster closer to the tower one will have to cut a hole on the firewall to accomodate the booster further to the side hence the steel plates, one on the inside of the firewall and the other on the outside...
