What is everyone using as the shift lever carrier? With the 10-15 degree tilt the oem e30 325 carrier does not have the correct angle to put the shift lever through the hole in the chassis. I cant find answers. Can anyone help?

I'm guessing they modify the carrier to compensate for that tilt in addition to the "twisted" DSSR or modified stock selector arm."I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

Z3M shifter has a lot of room under the pivot ball for that type of modification. Other levers typically don't have much room. I think it's better to mod the carrier than the lever.
