Header Question...

I'm gathering parts to M54 swap my Cabrio, and am just unclear on the eBay header I should be looking for.

Am I simply looking for the E36 M5x headers, or are there 24v into E30 swap headers I am somehow missing?

I don't necessarily even want the cheapest, but if there's a set that's easier and cleaner fitting, I'd just go with those.

the "Speed Daddy" $93 headers will fit an M54 without issue. that being said, Supersprint offers a complete 24v conversion exhaust now... it comes at a price, but is a total bolt on solution, from the headers back.

I was hoping for a higher quality solution than the $100-ish ebay stuff, but not quite the $1700 SS header. I guess stock manifolds would be ok and fit easy, but the hot side of the engine would look sad without something shiny to replace the turbo that lives there now.

This Active Autowerke header with y-pipe would be great as long as I don't have the beat the krap out of it. Plus the single collector would make the downstairs exhaust fabrication cake!

Hmm, daddy no sell the headers today.

This post makes me realize that I have not obtained these
(or something like it)
and the stock manifold stubs I have might be a bit... loud.

The more M54 heads I look at, the more I want to do a clean- up porting on them.
They're... not all that hot!
