Heater hose routing and Coolant temp

What are the best methods for heater hose routing? I'm kind of lost because I have one hose out the back towards the heater core intlets, and no second hose. Do I have to tee it into the hose that goes to the coolant reservoir?

And what are the alternatives for mounting the E30 brown coolant temp sensor, I've seen you can tap it into the coolant fitting and earth it. I also saw somewhere mention it will fit in the coolant drain plug on the block, but required a shallower depth sensor.

The M54 returns the heater to the reservoir, so yeah, teeing into that line will work. It just needs to go
back to the cool (intake) side of the system somehow.

The gauge sensor would do better in the head than the block... but can't you use the gauge sensor in the
'multi- temperature sender' already in the head? It's been a while...

now, sometimes I just mess with people. It's more entertaining that way. george graves
