Damn, those look amazing.
They also like they'd never fit a RHD car heh.

these look pretty damn nice! price isn't bad either
what do the collectors look like? merge? triangle piece?Comment

equal length really doesn't matter. pipe diameter, total length, weld quality and collector design will have a larger effect.
I wonder what the insides of the pipe welds on Ebay S54 headers look like. I bet it's not pretty.Comment

Why not a one-piece flange? Seems like one piece would be a lot less likely to warp over time. I'v personally experience a header warp when it had 3 individual flanges instead of a one-piece, and it wasn't a cheaply made header (ANSA).Comment

Hey guys. I'll be making a full announcement with pricing and details.
It's not worth the disruption in flow and the added cost to snake a bunch of pipes around for this equal length nonsense. Smooth transition and proper merge collector is much more important.
I'll make the announcement about them soon!

This is a really nice looking set of headers. It looks like the design is geared more toward fitment than performance. Have you considered designing headers that have equal length runners? You definitely have the skill to pull it off and the end product would be well worth the money, IMO.

Perhaps, but considering the motor comes stock with equal length headers I figured the engineers felt there was value added in them. However, I am not a subject matter expert when it comes to the S54 that is why it was just "IMO".
nando, have seen any difference between ELH and non-ELH in relation to torque curves after tuning on the S54 or is it negligible?Last edited by MyE30; 05-13-2014, 11:19 AM.

the stock headers are not likely to be equal length. I really, really doubt they are - maybe within a few inches. that is good enough.
do some research on headers. I mean a lot of research - primary length, diameter and the merge design are much more important than how close to equal length the primaries are. Most "equal length" headers are in fact not. My RD headers are +/- 3-4".
in fact having headers 100% equal length will narrow the effects of scavenging to a smaller band. slightly unequal length should actually widen the torque curve. few headers are actually 100% equal length - packaging makes it impossible mostly, and it just ends up not mattering all that much.Comment
