DSC is not traction control! Its an ABS system. And last i checked, no human can modulate 4 wheels independently.

Who cares what wheel to wheel racers are doing. We are talking about mostly street cars here, and the E46 M3 ABS is light years ahead of the E30's.
Apologies for the thread going to pot, it was fun :)

You're right, there is a need for ABS, our friend gangnamstyle is clearly one of these super human forum types ;)

Ahem, Ive been a member before you even learned the language!

Fact is old man, the only 'fun' in this thread is everyone laughing at your posts, anyone who turns to insults has lost the argument a long time ago ;)

Run along petulant little man :)

Yes I've raced, I don't need to knock people off the track to win ;)

Anyway, as much as I want to discuss your in depth knowledge in female sanitary products, I would much rather spend my limited time on something far more productive :)

PS, did you know everyone can see you editing your posts? Are you attempting to further reinforce your empty argument?
only one who has never actually raced will be so stuck up.

It's funny you say hide from the fact you have never raced wheel to wheel. Try actual racing with contact; you won't survive with your attitude.

Your mom tell you to make sure the traction control is on when you leave home? Does she tuck you in at night still and tell you it's ok when Americans make fun of you?

It's fun to add more insults to the pile and see how your 4 banger loving fagtor will react.

Our 'merican redneck racing would make your euro queer club cry.

Don't want to be made fun of?
Stop posting on an American forum.

'MERICA IS A COUNTRY OF REDNECKS And you are not welcome here; you are unskilled and require traction control

    And yes; I love NASCAR

Opinion; don't take it personal. If you were racing here in our series with us I'd hand you a beer and make fun of you at the same time!

    READ:
    Hans I race with is full carbon; can't race wheel to wheel in Norcal without one;

Have you ever raced WHEEL TO WHEEL with contact?
IF you have never raced WHEEL TO WHEEL in a regulated series you have nothing to say; end of discussion - passing cars that are not racing you don't count for shit.
Seems quite likely that you have never raced wheel to wheel; for sure not in that shiny pretty e30.

Much different than just putting in hot laps; the other racers are physically in your way - traction control wont help you pass them as much as actually racing skills / training.

red bull had CHEATER traction control; Worked great for them before everything changed this season and no more special cheat; they cant seem to win anymore.

Red bull = cheaters to win; straight loosers without the cheating

I stated that you must have a package of tampons next to your hans device if you NEED traction control to drive- It's completely logical and a valid argument.
I don't know many wheel to wheel racers here who NEED traction control or have monthly periods. Props to the female wheel to wheel racers there are a few here.

    Many professional series cars are supposed race without traction control; Lots of cheating traction control noobs; the ones with real skills don't need it;
it is illegal and does make faster laps - If one needs to cheat like that to win what's the fun in the competition?

Traction control can be a very good tool in a high hp car on the street, atleast in a small, light RWD E30 :D
I dont want to go full boost at 150mph in a bend on the highway but with TC i now can :) Or now i dare maybe is a better way to speak hehe :)

As for HANS, this is a great video showing why one is necessary.

    I wouldn't drive a caged/harnessed car without one!

Yes red bull is doing GREAT this season. All the UK magazines are reporting about their sore looseness at not being competitive.

    So much for traction control???

If you need the dsc to stabilize the car then tampons are packed along the fire suit and hans. ;-)

I also race a e30 wheel to wheel endurance; it's rear suspension is shit compared to a 36. We just don't have the budget for a 36; no pro funding here. If one thinks a e30 is honestly faster than you are just fooling yourself; build a 36m or a 46m in the same manner and drive it.

Nothing to do with money, its all to do with proving what works and what doesn't.

I guess that F1 drivers need tuition too........

Come play stateside. e30's don't compete in nasa gts here: 36 dominates over 46 and 92.

Unless your e30 bodyshell has a porsche 911 gt3 under it; those are a different story
