there you go picking at everything i say again, i didnt mean i will extensively use the exact e46 m3 5 lugs just that its possible to switch over. Stop being a pest nando, go out and enjoy the weather instead of posting on every single post, nobody cares, the rest of us just want to enjoy the hobby.

i would love to hear from him about performance on the track , this setup would be going into a track car also but an e30 ix.

The ECU and electronics have yet to be finalized maybe there are other solutions present.

Who said anything about swapping the ABS ring?

Doesn't matter. It works on my car, that's all that really matters to me.

what difference does it make? all you'd have to do is convert the sine wave from the VR sensor to a square wave. that's like maybe $10-20 worth of electronics instead of whatever 4 sensors cost, 2 that don't actually fit directly, plus swapping ABS rings.

it sounds like the "right" sensor to me. :p

You'd rather use the wrong sensor for the electronics than the right one modified to fit? Ok.

doesn't sound too bad. But personally, I prefer electronic solutions to mechanical ones. I'm guessing the E46 sensor output is basically a square wave which is trivial to make from an E30 ABS sensor.

didn't you say yourself that there's no sensor that just "works" in the E30 trailing arms?

Not trying to be argumentive, just to clarify.

Doesn't matter 5 lug. The ABS holes are exactly the same.

Not everyone wants to run 5 lug. ;)
