A small follow up. Waiting for the metric port to AN swivel fittings to arrive (thanks to Andrew for posting the Part Numbers). Then I am filling fluids and hoping it was worth it.

The exhaust and intake is fabricated. The blue elbow is from bimmerworld (they only had blue in stock) I am pretty sure it is an aftermarket sillicon reducer. It is a bit odd, the ID of the small side is 3.75" which is a very tough size for tubing. Probably fits the stock intake fine but if you are fabricating a straight intake for alpha-n it is tricky.

I struggled and figured I was going to have to use stainless or roll a flat sheet of aluminum - problem with that is I figured I needed a turndown bend. I also considered building it out of 3.5 or 4" both had issues.

I found the following link on ebay:

Apparently it is for a GMC Suburban. I asked the OD and was told it was 3.75" so i ordered it, turns out it was 3.75 ID which made it a bit oversized. We it just fit in the boot, and had the proper turndown and HUGE 6" filter with a venturi/ horn that fits inside. A bit ghetto but all in all it works. Hope this helps someone!

    Thanks

    A

Intake looks good! Nice race car, those strut caps look massively strong and adjustable.

I used a 3.75 ID pipe for my intake, and it fit into the stock BMW plastic boot fine. That filter is HUGE!

Thanks the idea behind the strut mounts was to lower the car 1 " and help to preserve the factory geometry seems to work very well.

We pulled the 2.5 s14 in favour of the s54.
