    Lap in race car

Took the e30/s54 for a shakedown run in spokane this weekend. Car was excellent and only needs a few tweaks.

We were running a 3.9 diff and ran out of gear before the kink, it has a an understeer which we need to tune out and we were running '01 date code RA1s(don't ask).

A lap around Spokane County Raceway in a S54 powered BMW e30 M3 with "hockey pucks" for tires (Toyo RA1's with a 2001 year mould date). Shot entirely with Go...

Everything was tight and leak free all weekend.

That is a stock engine with Epic alpha-n.

eBay cheap headers and a gm suburban cold air intake. Fits the bimmerworld silicone boot. Car made 318 hp and 258ft/lbs. at the wheels.

          This.

That car is making plenty of power, and is very light, so a 3.73 would be much better with the ZF 5 speed IMO.

I loved the 3.46 in my S54 M3 with a ZF, but it wasn't only for the track.

Thanks guys, we have a line on a 3.73 but keep in mind Spokane is very long !

Most tracks 3.9 should be about right
