I am running boosterless and I would not recommend it with stock brakes for sure. I have e46 m3/e39 540i brakes and have a lot more travel than I did with the stock brakes, but it's still not confidence inspiring at all. I'm hesitant to track the car with this setup

IMO I'd just go boosterless, that would give you room to fit the CSL airbox. :)

I can do an ix or 735 booster
Maybe since mine is relocated half an inch over and then throw the ix booster also that might give me enough clearance.

I'd still love to find out some one successfully doing this

Can anyone identify the one in the pic I posted it doesn't look like an ix booster but then again it's hard to see

on my s52 swap i have an IX booster mounted without the bracket straight to firewall with a remote reservoir, and its still pretty close with the OBD1 manifold. So you can use that as a reference...anybody who wants to test fit an s54 in my engine bay is more than welcome.

I'm currently collecting parts for my s54 swap as well, I've heard the booster from an e32 735i will work using a remote reservoir.

99.9% of people that go s54 swap go booster less and use a wilwood pedal box.

started a topic Booster ideas for s54 swap

    Booster ideas for s54 swap

So I'm piecing things together now for the swap

Things I've gotten or decided on:

    Harness adapter from Andrew
    Headers from ebay
Flywheel and clutch from the dealer
Reusing my zf from my current s52 swap
Along with the oil pump pan engine mounts etc

What I'm not sure about is my booster

Currently I've got the stock booster relocated a bit to the drivers side.

In a perfect world this will fit with the s54 and its humungous airbox but I'm worried about it

I wondering who has had success with other boosters or the stock booster and from there what would be the best choice performance wise

    I'm thinking ix..

Also I know the experts in here are running booster less systems but I really don't want to get into that for my own reasons.
Money time and I can't weld.

So please anyone with a successful booster setup that you like in an e30 with an s54 please chime in

I saw a pic of one on s14.net that is gorgeous but couldn't figure out what it is maybe someone here can tell me

This is "lulu" car I guess. Click image for larger version
