    M3 Found, Whats Next?

I found an E36 M3 non running for a steal that I couldn't let slip away. I haven't gotten the car home yet to see whats going on but I'm assuming the worst case scenario. This car will allow me to take the E30 off the road and turn it into what I think it should've always been.

So if you guys were bringing a blank canvas M3 home, what would you do? Rebuild the s52? Buy a used motor? Go S54? Maybe M60 (still researching, oil pan seems to be the hangup)?

I want this car to be reliable and strong, so I'll sacrifice all out power/speed. Forced induction may come into play later down the line, but not for now. I want the car running by April. What should I do?
