HakkenTT. AKA "rebuilt engine with used rings" aka "blatantly copies peoples tunes" aka "hacked up E36 N55 swap" and many others. He's prolific on all BMW forums.
I am still here Nando, where are you at? you are just jealous of my technical abilities. You are the one who bought other people's tunes and made it like you discovered them via code disassembly. And by the way my E36 N55 is still running after 10 years.
Or use the 2002 booster. No spacing or shims required. I've driven on it a bit and it's nice - 2002 booster with stock e30 master feels exactly the same as my previous setup (ix booster and 7er master)
You must have had a bad booster or master before. The 2002 booster is smaller than the e21 booster, and when I had that on my s52 e20, I needed a vacuum reserve canister as the assist was so much weaker.
On my s54 M3, I did the iX booster, and it gave even more assist than the original m3 booster.

Really? Everything I heard is that the 2002 booster is weaker the stock.

I went with revshift because I wanted isolated poly engine mounts, I don't think they are any different, just a high quality mount.
I could space up the driver's side with a couple washers and do less modification on the booster.
The csl replica airbox is harder to fit then the stock airbox.
Thanks, so I can stay with the stock airbox, save a ton of money and go 944 booster with a bit of movement.
Awesome info, what do the revshift mounts do that make the difference?

So much bad information out there.
Using the revshift engine mounts, 944 brake booster slid over 1/2" and slightly modified, requires zero modification to the airbox.

This. Have you watched his n55 e36 video? It's hilarious to listen to the guy! He claims that swap is the "proper" way to turbo an e36, lol! Sound comes on around 15 seconds.
