    Labeled wiring harness?

Anyone have pics of what goes where for S54 e30? The harnesses came to me separately and I've never dealt with an e46 m3, so I have no idea where everything goes. For example, 4 plugs fit the connector for the 3 knock sensors...what order do they go in etc? The plug for the icv and throttle control are the same etc. I opened the black plastic box to reverse the order of the wires since I had no idea where they went anyway, so I can't really just use the length and location to help at this point

When you mount the harness on the engine you'll find most plugs will just line up with the connector they plug onto, but if you want to label them you'll need to use the wiring diagrams to identify each connector. Carefully peel back the boots on the connectors to expose the wires. Take note of their colors and pin number positions. If you don't want to navigate through BMW's WDS then you can use the 2001 or 2002 Z3 ETM. You can find both of those by searching with Google.

I got the intake side figured out - the only questions I have left are the ones I emailed you about what the white plugs do, the one 2 pin connector, and the few power/ground questions.
Then I need to figure out what to do with the old wiring :/
