Only 97 model year has that fuel rail. But it’s not necessary since you can just install the 2/3-way valve down below the fuel rail that has the FPR in it.... -
I found another thread about this from 2018. I commented last year, but I forgot about it lol. Still don’t know if anyone went through with it. :)

Yeah, I don’t think an adapter is necessary. Not unless you were going to install the N52 intake manifold, but I read the DISA valves on that one can be even more problematic than the M52TU/M54 DISA...Leave a comment:

The ports don’t line up very well (D shape vs oval shape), so an adapter plate would be ideal, but the only ones I’ve seen are for doing the reverse (M50 manifold on M52TU/M54). Of course it probably...Leave a comment:

I don’t know about the cams; in this one I plan to keep the M52 cams since I won’t be upgrading the gearbox yet. Keeping dual VANOS on the M52TU is fine, but I don’t like how there isn’t a CEL...👍 1Leave a comment:

M52TU/M54 DISA Intake Manifold onto Single VANOS 24V
I don't know if this has been covered before, but it got me thinking.
Has anyone installed an M52TU or M54 intake manifold onto a single VANOS engine? I think it would give a boost on both... -
This thread is funny. I’m bumping it because I’m planning to toss an M52 into the E30 and I have both an iron block M52 and a M52TU. Both 2.8. I think it would be great to have the aluminum block...Leave a comment:
