Has my DME been previously tuned?

So I have been driving my swapped car a bit over winter and I am noticing that it revs to 8250ish before hitting a hard rev limiter. I have no experience with an untuned S54. Is there a way to tell if I have a tune in the DME. When I had it reflagged for swap I had them leave whatever the redline was set alone. Is it possible that the car that the DME. And from was tuned and that tune is still on the dme?

most likely yes, 8250 is not the stock redline. Unless your tach is wrong..

Cluster was just rebuilt by Bavarian restoration with the M5 coding plug. It only indicates 8k waiting on the new overlay then I can see real rpm but it revs well past 8k. I will try to put a video up on YouTube.

Hard to see the tach clearly but it doesn’t hit a soft limiter it hits a hard limiter past 8k about
