Sure...why not?"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

A guy in the nyc area swapped one into blue e30 m3. Pretty impressive swap.Comment

impressive i agree, what do we think were talking about in terms of long random nights and massive headaches and frustration putting the motor in or even just setting all the computers and wiring of that motor in the e-30? idk I'm just tryna get an idea of what other ppl think, if they know anything interest about them, i just figure i have an e30 I'm gonna make a wide body anyways cause I'm bored and want a project and i dont have a time frame or limit on this car , and i have the motor might as well do something with it right?Comment

If you'd like a sneak peek there's my build thread in my signature.
As desert said there are a few fitment issues such as the turbo, but there are ways around this without putting the engine in your lap and cutting out the trans tunnel, the bellhousing on the gs6-53bz is quite big, the further the engine goes back, the more you'll accommodate by cutting the trans tunnel.
It's been a minute since I've updated, tis the season.Comment

Ya sick i viewed the build, your getting there, but about the fitment issues of the turbos because i did hear that before, but what about changing the 2 turbo set up what about converting into to a single turbo set up??
What do you guys think about that? maybe this we i won't have to cut out chunks of the car to make it fit...Comment

Of course going single turbo top mount is a solution, whether you want to buy one of the spendy kits or make your own.
I have an extra set of manifolds, I'm looking at the option of bending out the 2 ply manifold, and flip it over and use as a top mount. if that doesn't work, than make a new front manifold. Cheap and easy.Comment
