    ix rear driveshaft

hello r3v, my driveshaft for my 88ix is starting to bind up at the yoke, wondering what my options are. am I able to get it serviced like this? would I have to buy a used one in good condition? let me know, thanks

How long can you have your car down? I would just send it out for a new joint if you can wait it out. There are used shafts out there, but the grease is likely dried up. Luckily, one can use a shaft from both manual and automatics if you search for a used spare. I have a spare shaft around if you are interested, but it will have surface rust from the gnarly NE.

I have the car down for a bit, I decided to take it to a driveshaft shop and they said they can do it. Ill get it back in a week or so. just out of curiosity how much would you sell yours for?
