I have a 1989 325ix, automatic.
What i am chasing is a rocking when idling in D or P.
Idle RPM is 700 and steady.
As soon as i start to drive it drives very smoothly and no vibrations or hesistation is felt
Recent work:
Engine has excellent compression and very good leak down test results.
I upgraded to 6 new fuel injectors.
New ignition parts including distributor, rotor, coils and plugs
Valve adjustment
I have switched MAFs and ICVs but still not change
Could it be my mounts; engine and/or Tranny.
Any advise is appreciated
Worse case i have to switch the tranny mount; does anyone have any tips on how to do that?
