    New iX AWD problems

I just bought my first BMW about a month ago and being that I am more of a Jeep guy, I figured I might as well get one that is 4wd. Well after changing all the fluids and driving it a bit (it drives great for a $500 dollar car!), I did the jack test and it failed. I checked my front driveshaft and it seems to be ok, so I assume the viscous coupler is dead. My question is whether there is anywhere other than the dealer where I could get one? Or is a used transfer case my best route? It's a manual transmission, so I'm not sure how hard it would be to find a used, working case or what it would cost. I deffinitely want to get this 4wd system working. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!

Get in touch with Autobahn Sport. They've got a For Sale thread with a couple transfer cases.
