Hummming and grinding started after jacking up front.

So I just jacked up the front of the car to take a look.

It was up on jacks stands for 2hrs or so while i replace the oil pressure switch and a few other minor maintenance jobs.

Then I dropped it back down and took it for a drive and It started hummming and grinding and making a rubbing sound like crazy.(mainly rear)

Also i noticed that the rear rebound was alot stiffer and it bounced alot more over bumps and such.

    I'm kind of puzzled.

    Input please.

    Thank you

Just by guessing, maybe the rear shock mount was worn out and by now has seperated from the mount and your shock was thus not damping? No way to find out unless you look in the trunk at the top of the shock mount.

if your rebound was stiffer it wouldn't bounce. rebound is what keeps the spring in control.
