the steering rack is specific for the ix and different from racks on regular i or is e30's. I just swapped mine out and am thinkng about rebuilding it if you need a replacement

I have a friend with a spare one that should be good to go or else I'll just rebuild it. Thanks though. I was mainly interested in if I could swap in a later model rack for an upgrade. Does anyone know how much difference there is between the two racks?Comment
