Guibo mod! I discovered that the standard guibo form a 325i has the same bolt pattern as the ix front guibo and it is at least 1/2" thicker.

I tried it out yesterday after swapping out my transfer case and it fits just fine! You just need slightly longer bolts. I used BMW part numbers 26111204215 M10x42 and 26111225054 M10x50

The only issue is that the bolt heads on the guibo will interfere with a bolt that holds the bellhousing to the oil pan. I removed it and cut it to eliminate the interference.

i forgot to measure the difference between the two guibos so I'll update this thread after i do that.

Good to know, does the metal alignment piece still work with it?? May get the parts myself and check it out!
