Hi- I was wonder where the fuel filter is located....appears mine needs replacement. I did some searching and heard that it was in the engine bay near the brake booster.....so I do out what appear to be a large filter, but it turns out it is just a charcoal filter...not what I was looking for. Is the filter near the gas tank? And if so, where specifically?

same place it's on all 325i's, under the car, on the drivers side, just in front of the gas tank/rear wheel. it's only inside the engine bay of some of the early cars. -
my eyes still hurt from the engine bay mounted filter spraying fuel on my face in my old 85 eta. Nando is right though, it's easy to find under the drivers side rear seat rocker panel.Comment
