    325ix count?

I've seen a few numbers running around about how many 325ix's were brought over here. What's the most official number?

Anyone know how many are currently around? I almost wet myself when I found a black 4 door 5 speed. Since finding it and buying it, I've only seen 1 other one here in the states.

Mine's a 1990. I noticed the sales numbers on the site but I'm a little confused.

      Total US E30 325iX sales:
      1987: 297
      1988: 310
      1989: 844
      1990: 699
      1991: 454
      1992: 41
      1993: 2
      325iX/2 door (85-91): 12,557
      325iX/4 door (85-91): 17,032
      Total: 2,647

325iX/4 Door: 17,032. Does that mean 17k were made in Germany? 17k were brought over? 17k were sold total that weren't grouped by year?

think about it. So many have been rusted to shit/parted out, if there were only ~400 made each year there would be none left. But if you look in the classifieds there's always tons of them for sale.

I've also seen enough conflicting production numbers that I don't believe any of them. The only sure way to know would be to ask BMW directly.
