so i was looking to chip my ix and the turner chip adds 15 hp and 15 torque it says to run 91 octane but should i run platinum plugs in there as well i figured a higher heat range would be good, right?

I ran stock plugs on the chip and the car runs great. Not sure how much a difference the plugs will make. I felt that the chip helped bring the car to life and the higher redline is cool. -
don't put platinum plugs in any M20.
normally you would go with a colder heat range, but since you didn't change anything internal to the engine stay with the stock heat range plugs.Comment
