    Removing a front drive shaft

I've been having problems with my 90 325ix and was told to remove the front shaft to inspect. Trying to get the one off my donor which is an 88 325ix and I've got the shaft unbolted just can't get it off from the the rear of where the shaft is connected. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it

you have to pop the centering pin out of the front driveshaft. it's right behind the flex disk - you should see a slot in the driveshaft that you can slide a flathead in. pry it loose and it will fall out, press the shaft into the t-case to get the flex disk out of the way.
