    Removing crank bolt

Currently trying to remove crank bolt.

Car is currently on jackstands w/out front axles or control arms.

Put car in gear w/ e-brake and tried to loosen crank bolt, but the engine just turns along with the front driveshaft. Is there ahy way I can get around buying the crank tool?

Put the front back on and lower it down.

          ha

that is how mine is sitting now. Just sent the half shafts to get rebuilt.

I put a pipe wrench on the hub to hold the crank and went to town with a breaker bar and 3 foot cheater pipe.

              Figured it out.

For anyone who may read this in the future...

              Put it in 5th gear w/ e-brake.

I locked the front driveshaft through the joint with a 1/4" extension about 6" long right where it goes in to the diff. Worked like a charm.

              Big cheater bar needed.
