Red-ish 89 325ix with dent in the door, bad paint, missing center caps, broken defrost, broken ac, p/s pump may be going, brake pad sensors missing. On the plus side i just had the trannie and tc fixed for 2 grand!!

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

The next summer one is 2014. Anybody wanna try and do it? We've got three years to prepare. It would kick ass if we could get a bunch of iXs from all over in it.

I'd seriously love to but am not sure I can afford it myself. However, if someone needs a relief driver/navigator/mechanic (I have over 20 years of professional experience on cars and motorcycles, including time spent as an AMA Pro roadracing team mechanic and pro motorcycle tuner), we might be able to work something out... And yes, I have experience with doing all my own work on my 325iX (including replacing the driveshaft in a parking lot)...
