    Floor mat fit?

Hi folks, I'm looking to buy a set of floor mats for my 1990 325iX sedan. I'd prefer to stick OEM, but was wondering if any of you know whether there's a fit issue with the transfer case bump. The PN appears to be the same for all e30 coupes/sedans. Thanks!

i recently bought regular E30 mats for my iX. There is a slight difference, but nothing significant enough not to use them.

To be quite honest though, on my last iX + this current one....i've found the E46 mats fit better & provide more coverage on the rear floors. Even the front mats are almost a spot on match....i just liked having them pinned down to the carpet floor, thats why i chose to use the E30 ones.

The E30 specific mats are much smaller than the E46 ones in the rear......actually right now I'm using the rear mats out of my E46 M3.

Huh, very cool, thanks - I didn't know the e46 mats fit so well. I'm actually now thinking a set of black & red coco mats would look pretty sweet...heard excellent things about cocomats.com. The guy's sending me some samples to see how the colors work. Pretty cool!

How do you like the Cocomats? Considering those in red/black also.

They should be arriving tomorrow - they custom make each set. I'll let you know, but I expect good things; I emailed extensively with Drew, the VP there, and he's a very cool guy. Sent me several samples of the mats and templates to find an exact fit.

Hey, sorry it took a while for me to update this thread. The original mats got lost by UPS, so Drew had them rush-build me a new set, and even threw in a set of rears for my troubles. They look *great* and are of excellent quality. I'd recommend these guys any time, from start to finish.

All E30 mats are not created equal. There are early 84-85 mats and 86 on mats. Vert mats are slightly narrower than sedans. Some extend over the footrest and some don't.
