    IX Exhaust

Which if any parts of the ix exhaust are ix specific? What about manual or auto... does it make any difference?

    #2
According to realoem, they are different part numbers between the iX and i, AND the autos/manuals of the same build month and year.

So yes, technically. Whether or not one will work in the other I cannot say. I don't have an iX.

But the automatic i and manual i exhausts work just fine betwixt each other. that I can say. Even if they are different part numbers.

E-30 325 cat back muffler. This is a classic part for a classic car. Exceptional sound, fit & finish. This part is a great final addition to a restored 325i. Category: BMW, E - 30 HP Increase: 8...

Thanks for the tip. I'm looking for a comfortable quiet ride... nothing sporty. Will this be louder than stock?

Thanks for all the input. So based on what everyone said:

I need a center section (cat) from an IX (manual or auto doesn't matter)

And a rear section (muffler) from any I (manual or auto doesn't matter)

              Sounds about right?

Depending on where you go for parts, the muffler may also require a mid pipe to reach from the muffler to the cat.

only if it's custom, any M20B25 cat-back exhaust is going to bolt up.
