Had to squash the idea of euroweaves as my winter setup, and ordered these ricers.

They were cheap (needed something ASAP), and offsets look like they'll work. 15x7 ET35.

I'll post pics once they're on. I went narrow/lower profile on the tires 195/55/15 Michelin Ice's....

Curious to see what these look like on the iX.....i still don't know how I feel about them.

why? couldn't find a set? they'll fit just fine, especially with a 195/60 which is the only decent 15" size snow tire you can get in the US market.

anyway, those are fine too, hell they're just winter wheels. can't possibly be worse than the bottlecaps I've rocked for the last 8 winters.

I pick up my refinished ix weaves on moday, new snow tires later next week :D

yeah i mean sets are around...but i've spent so much lately on the car (and still more to come)....so i budgeted X amt for wheels. The weaves didn't have an expected delivery date, and we just got hit w/ a 10inch snowstorm the other day, so I needed something badly. These fit the bill....i went w/ 195/55 as my old 195/60s i found to be too meaty. Of course aethetics > function, right? lol

U think I can use the stock lugs or do most aftermarket wheels use a diff seated lug?

finally got the wheels + tires mounted...and i must say I'm very impressed w/ these wheels. The lips are a brushed satin (which I'm very happy about since i saw polished ones in some pics), and the centers are a satin gunmetal. The look black in the pics below, but in day light def more gunmetal.

Unfortunately on the iX, the back face of the wheel was touching the caliper....so a 10mm spacer was needed.....hence why i only have pics of the front (thanks DarkKnight for loaning me yours!)

btw anyone know the best/cheapest place to get 10mm spacers + extended lugs?

I'm still debating on what to do w/ the center caps, so if you guys have any ideas feel free to post. I didn't like the way the 'OG' caps that came with them looked....and might try to find blank ones that are flat/flush w/ the center of the wheel, and paint them to match. Thoughts on these wheels? I'm diggin' them personally!

(same pic, but filtered to see the webbing a bit better)

you can get spacers in the retail classifieds section (8830 labs?)

if you do any track/autox you want to be picky about studs but if you just want to drive them on the street I think they sell longer lugbolts too.

they look pretty good! nice paint color. ;)

FWIW I have 3mm spacers for my summer wheels to clear the front calipers. you sure 10mm is needed?

yeah i checked 8830 and they didn't have 10mm. I initially tried 5mm spacers up front, and it was still rubbing. 10mm just clears it...

I think i'm gonna take my chances w/ the cheap ebay ones. I had H&R ones on my old audi, and after 2 winters they rusted pretty badly.
