    transfer case seals

I am doing a transmission exchange as the auto went out in my ix and I thought I would change the seals in the TC while it was removed. Can anyone tell me where I can get these seals as pelican has to special order them and autohaus does not have them. The dealer wants way too much for them too!

    I need:
    2- 27111226314 (input shaft)
    1- 27211224636 (rear output shaft)
    1- 27241224660 (front drive shaft)

    Thanks!

    Dan

they're going to be "special order" anywhere. go for the cheapest price, they're going to come from germany either way. www.thebmwpartstore.com will be reasonably quick. if you want to support the E30 community send blunt an email and he'll hook you up.

Can these seals be replaced without separating the unit?

yers, but you need a special tool that fits over the output shaft to drive them in, or improvise.
