    First Snow in the IX

I can't believe how well this car goes in snow! I have had it since the summer, but first snow this morning. I just had to get a few drifts in on my short commute.

Got my first snow and ice driving today! On 2.5" of snow over black ice. What a hoot!!! I thought it would be fun but it was just amazing. Found the steepest hill around and went up like it was nothing. Of course, went very easy on the downhill, because you have too!!
Studded tires make the difference :) Had mine two and a half years before had the combination of real snow tires and actual snow to drive on here. Had Subaru 4x4 wagon, forester and outbacks too. but this was just another level experience, as you can imagine the e30 snowmobile would be. Never did the "jack test" before buying mine. But gave it a good test and all seemed 4x4!

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.
