abs question

Is there any difference in the abs operation of a ix verse a non ix

I thought I read somewhere that the awd does something extra

I am wondering because I was thinking of doing abs delete and am wondering if without the abs module if I will still have sum sort of anti lock

I don't know the specifics on an ABS delete, or ix vs is, but when my ABS sensor was failing, I had NO ABS function whatsoever. As long as the ABS light was on in my dash, I had zero ABS functionality.

the ix ABS unit is unique to the ix, it's programmed differently and uses more sensors. and no, it won't work if you take parts of the system out.

I can't think of any reason I'd want to delete it. leave that to the poseur hard parkers.
