There's another manufacturer that makes a similar chain. They don't have one in 1.75" width - but I'm going to ask and see if they can make one.

A few places still list the chain but most are out of stock or you have to ask. Think I could find 9 other people who want a brand new chain? lol
I know the E34 TC is no longer being remanufactured but they have some reman units on the shelf, so i wouldent be surprised if the same goes for the E30 TC.

have you asked recently? I'm thinking they'd get it from BMW, and BMW prices are insane now. I'm hoping to score one directly from the manufacturer as it was much cheaper..

I'll ask though. I also need a new front output sprocket..

My brand new VC was only $578 back in January.
Bought my new chain + seals + some of bearings from Turner motorsport.
Was that about 300$? They ordered it from Germany to USA and sended to Finland, lol.. new chain would have been cost 1000$ from here

the chain is HV-024 for early and HV-024R for late.

it's possible there are a few of them sitting around in warehouses at different transmission places.. maybe I'll get lucky, they're listed at under $200 in a couple places - but you have to call to confirm they even have it. :)
Thats the model but the part nr should be ten digits usually in three groups like xxxx-xxx-xxx.
Im sure its more expensive then $200 =S
