    E34 525ix front hubs?

    Anyone tried a E34 525ix front hub on a 325ix? Im doin a 325ix M50 turbo and thinking 5 lug + big brakes.

    Maybe E87/E90 rears is better?

I used e87 116i hubs, rear with e36 325i brakes. front with e36 325i front rotor with custom hub center. rear hub needs 5,5mm spacers to bring hub outer.

Ok thanks! I will check the thread!
Do you know if theres enough room for the 525ix axle nut in the E87 hub?

I dont think they will fit ix strut housings

But E34 ix front hub nuts fit e30 ix front hubs so i dont see why they wouldnt work with E87.

yes, e34 ix hubs do fit into e30 ix strut assemblies and they actually fit very well. an e36 m3 brake rotor fits over it perfectly also. you will just need to make a custom bracket to mount an e36m3 caliper to the strut assy.

i looked at e90 hubs. i can't recall why they didn't work, but i think the axle spline diameter is bigger and not compatible.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but does anyone know if the 325ix front axles work with the 525ix front hubs?

The splines fit for sure, but the faces of the shafts are a little different. They can probably be made to work with minimal effort.
