I used e87 116i hubs, rear with e36 325i brakes. front with e36 325i front rotor with custom hub center. rear hub needs 5,5mm spacers to bring hub outer.

Do you know if theres enough room for the 525ix axle nut in the E87 hub?
E30 325ix M50 turbo 7 spd DCT 4wd 840awhp @ 31 psi.
E30 M50 6 spd 764whp @ 24psi.
E30 M20 6 spd 675whp.
yes, e34 ix hubs do fit into e30 ix strut assemblies and they actually fit very well. an e36 m3 brake rotor fits over it perfectly also. you will just need to make a custom bracket to mount an e36m3 caliper to the strut assy.
i looked at e90 hubs. i can't recall why they didn't work, but i think the axle spline diameter is bigger and not compatible.
