I have my both outputshafts under service now and I'm finding a solution that I could pruduce replacement ones for sale. I have an idea for outer CV joint, but inner is still under work.. These ones would be Heavy duty versions..

personally, i am a cheapass so i would probably just take them off one of my parts cars. i really think people here will need more information than this to make an educated decision.
it really isn't that expensive to send in your old shafts and get them rebuilt.sigpic

Well I'm thinkin that original CV joints are not cheap so I would use MB vito cv joint on outer. It is totally heavy duty version and cheap one. for inner cv joints, I need to make those axles by myself and then maybe weld them into another cv joint which I need to find out. axles between cv joints would be made of 42CrMo or imacro.. Original output shafts cost here in Finland about 1120euros (1450USD) per piece, so you might not be wondering why am I planning this..Comment

btw, I know how to rebuild them, but cv joints aren't available in here, so I would like to find cheaper way to repair them and at the same time, making them stronger..Comment

Here is comparment of MB vito and ix cv joint

Well yes, of course, it needs some mods too. but why front output shafts are my subject, is the price. they cost here 1500 USD piece. Finland and it's prices..Comment

I think I'll make some mods to front diff when it is its turn.. enlargening oil capacity and cooling would be good to improve..Comment
