definitely interested in your results once you get them. If they are reasonable, I may get a chip and headers for mine;)

That's great! We will all have one more car and mods for our information on e30s. I bought my first on 15 years ago, so yah I have been around them for a while as well. The main issue I have had with the ix is the lack of power. My summer car is an e46 M3, so the change has been tough. Now that I'm making more power the car reminds me of a good old fun car.

No need to argue, I will dyno the car when I'm done. We can talk about facts at that point and not speculation. With cai, headers, and a chip this car has come alive. The stock intake and exhaust are just too conservative for performance.

Yes, my point exactly. I have tuned numerous cars on the dyno, we have thousands of graphs just from this year alone, the only time we saw any kind of big gain was on my personal car which went from 124whp to 148, but that's because the WOT switch on the TPS is broken and instead of changing it (being lazy), just tuned it out lol.

Yeah but this is an ix, that puts down maybe 140whp stock. Eric Johnson's only put down 125. I saw a 3 liter IE Stroker do 150 (needed a tune, but still).

20Whp is just nonsense. That would be ~200 at the crank on an otherwise stock motor. It doesn't pass the BS test.

Not sure about with the Miller stuff, but I just got well over 150 with RD headers, one of our stock rebuilt heads, and our dyno chip tune. No porting, stock AFM etc. 200+k mile bottom end RWD e30, so an ix will be lower.

EDIT: 155.26whp/154.16wtq as you can see, the chip was only worth about 2whp/3wtq.

Not hating on you, I'm sure it will be an improvement, but 20whp on an ix is a big task from a small motor.

    This is from Miller https://www.millerperformancecars.co...III%202.5L.pdf

I called them out on it and they admitted it was more like 15, but that is with the old 14.5 single port injectors. Regardless, I will post a dyno run of my own in a month or so. So I guess dreaming is not really accurate. What kind of gains are you thinking?

Just got my Miller MAF and 19lb injectors, should get about 20hp to the wheels. I will dyno and report back my numbers.

Yeah I saw that. Not quite ready for performance upgrades yet, still working on maintenance.
