question on rack and pinion???

I'm may be in need of a rack and pinion for my '91 ix. Did some search real quick and it seems like Rack Doctor is the place to go with, at $239 after the $100 refundable core deposit and lifetime warranty and they use OE..anyone ever bought from them? or is there someone else you guys recommend? thanks in advance!!

I'm in the process of taking my steering rack out on my IX and going with them I've seen a few people deal with them so why not plus a $100 core is cheap!

yea price is right, plus they offer lifetime warranty, can't beat that!!
I don't have any noise or vibration from mine, its just leaking, so seals might be all I need

Yeah the warranty is great but just hope its good parts they use because its a big job to remove these steering rack luck I'm doing all the work!!

My rack has play in it.

Sounds like you have all of the feedback you need, but I ordered my new rack from them as well and it is great. I've only had it a couple months, so time will be the real test, but they were fast, cheap, and the parts all definitely looked and felt good.

Yeah, this is what makes getting parts such a PITA. You have to check all the different places and see who is ripping you off. Then you add in the chance of getting faked / crap parts...it is almost enough to make someone go to the dealer.
