Second issue is the speedo...I supposedly bought a good cluster, I have swapped out the gears, and the mileage is still not recording, and also the speedo will work sometimes, and then spike, then stop, then start again. Coolant gauge works, gas gauge, but the MPG stays pegged to the left all the time. Any ideas on how to fix?
Check your speed sensor/connection/wiring at your diff. It is probably toast.

Fire some ATF in there and see what happens. Is the belt attached?
