i have an extra set of akg rear subframe and trailing arm bushings for my rwd, will they work just the same installed on my IX or is there some type of modification i have to do for this? i see someone mentioned something about the fact it helps correct camber if your using a lowered suspension (which i am) so i wont need much else will i? just install and enjoy?

they are shorter than the ix bushings which raises the subframe up (and reduces camber/toe).
you will want to use washers equal to the height difference of the ix and AKG bushings to space the diff back down to it's original location. It doesn't have to be exact, I think I used about 1/4" worth for mine (2 washers?)
otherwise they will fit the same. also, there's a giant "washer" thing that goes on the bottoms of the bushings, I think you will still want to use that.

or are you talking about using them at stock ride height too, and using camber correction to add camber back?

no reason to do that. the point is to keep your pinion angle at basically zero (in line with the driveshaft and transmission). spacing the diff down with some cheap washers makes more sense than a special diff bushing.
also, I would never run a delrin or poly diff bushing on anything but a full race car. it's just not worth it.

Im using delrin in my whole rear end (and engine + trans) i my rwd E30 and really like it so im going the same route on the ix as well so i think ill try with offset hole :)E30 325ix M50 turbo 7 spd DCT 4wd 840awhp @ 31 psi.
E30 M50 6 spd 764whp @ 24psi.
E30 M20 6 spd 675whp.

I'd like to enlarge your thoughts before you do something stupid.
First of all, you know, the rear subframe is connected to rear diff. So there is actually 3 points that holds the rear end on. So if you lower the front bushings by using rwd bushes without extendion kit, you will bend the subframe upward. That changes the axle of your drive shaft and might worn out sooner or later.
Also, the movement at rear axle makes camber and caster to change. By lowering your rear axle your camber will be fucked up without any adjustable bushings. Mine has strong camber, but I dont care. Car gains so low mileage per year.. You can find the extendion kit dimensions from my build :) if you have anything to ask, hit me with message
