Also, you put the wrong boot on the passenger side and there's not enough grease for the inner CV joint.

price reflects this, the boot is packed with plenty of grease, and I can supply the proper boot on request

I disagree, since this isn't your FS thread I'm going to go ahead and tell you they are overpriced.

you should probably at least mention that the inner drivers boot is the wrong one so somebody doesn't buy it and not realize it has 1/2 the amount of CV grease it's supposed to.

Nando, I know you're just doing your job as a moderator. If every used part had to meet factory oem spec, there would be no such thing as a used part. Why dump publicly on my thread, let's be real, someone could use these fully functioning axles, and I could use the money. Where does this not enough grease thing come from? These parts were cleaned and sealed on both ends with the recommended 80g of grease. A marginal amount of grease actually resides in the remaining 2" of the proper boot. For the record, I've run beater ix's without CV boots through multiple winters without trouble. Overpriced? All prices are negotiable. Even if I sell them for asking price, that's better than $2100 brand new from Pelican. Give me a break and give yourself a break from trolling R3V.

this isn't a FS thread. technically, it's a spam thread. and you aren't being honest about the condition of your parts, which is what bothers me. you don't have to stick to OEM spec for your own car, but when you're selling something you should at least mention the defects.

I doubt many people know that the inner CV joint takes 2 tubes of grease while the outter only takes one. since you're selling them for almost $400, I think that is relevant. in fact it's critical because grease in the CV joint is what prevents it from failing.

pelican is overpriced. so now you're comparing used parts to one of the highest priced sites on the internet. nice.

If pointing out that your parts are misrepresented makes me a troll, then so be it.
