    Shock question for H&R springs

I need to know if I can stick to stock shock if I get H&R's sport springs, it is more about the shock bottoming out than the spring/shock combo that I am worried about for the moment.

We just put the same spring in my son's car. I noticed a heavy clunk on the right front when we went through a deep gutter. Stock shocks. Now I know.

you need a sport shock for all 4 corners. don't run koni in the front and stock in the back, that's a handling disaster waiting to happen.

Nando, just curious why Koni's over Bilstein HD's?

Ive had the same bottoming out issue as well, I run Koni's and my friend runs Bilstein's, not a huge difference in my opinion but I prefer my setup. But maybe thats just because its my car

the bilsteins will bottom out way before the konis will, they are not designed to be lowered out of the box. you can open up the bilstein and shorten the bump stops, but I do not think bilstein ride quality will be anywhere near as good.

I never had the konis bottom out with H&R sports. are you sure about that? the drop is barely an inch.
