Auto & Man T-Case Interchangable?

Is the transfer case on the auto and manual interchangable? I read somewhere it might have a different bolt pattern...

I was actually coming at it from the perspective of swapping out transmissions. I've noticed auto coupe IXs are roughly half what people are asking for manuals in similar condition.

You need an ix transmission so presumably you'd have at least a core transfercase.
